PM Narendra Modi’s call to celebrate Children’s Day as Bal Divas is being observed today, December 26. On this occasion, Giriraj Singh, the MP and Union Minister from Begusarai, visited the Gurudwara in Begusarai and participated in the prayers being offered by the Sikh community. He also listened to the recitation of Guru Granth Sahib. Singh highlighted the sacrifice made by the sons of Guru Govind Singh, Sahibzada Fateh Singh and Sahibzada Jorawar Singh, who were captured alive for not converting to Islam. He praised PM Modi for taking the initiative to celebrate this day in memory of the Guru’s sons.
Singh further stated that the focus of any government should be on matters that should have been resolved before or immediately after independence. However, no government has paid attention to this until now. He appreciated PM Modi for respecting the Sikh community and making efforts to give the rightful place to the sons of Guru Govind Singh. Singh also criticized Asaduddin Owaisi, who considers Aurangzeb his ancestor, and other political parties for continuously attacking the Sanatan community.
Kundan Singh, the MLA from Begusarai, also praised PM Modi and welcomed his call to celebrate the day as Bal Divas in honor of the Sikh community. He mentioned that from now on, this day will be celebrated as Bal Divas every year.
बेगूसराय में आज प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के आह्वान पर बाल दिवस के रूप में मनाया जा रहा है। सिख समुदाय के दसवें और अंतिम गुरु, गुरु गोविंद सिंह के पुत्र साहिबजादा फतेह सिंह और साहिबजादा जोरावर सिंह को जिंदा पकड़ लिया गया था। इस्लाम ना अपनाने पर दोनों को ही दीवार में जीवित चुनवा दिया गया। इस मौके पर गिरिराज सिंह ने सिख समुदाय की प्रार्थना में भाग लिया और गुरुग्रंथ का श्रवण किया। उन्होंने इस मौके पर कहा कि आज तक किसी भी सरकार का ध्यान इस ओर नहीं गया है, लेकिन आज प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने गुरु गोविंद सिंह के पुत्रों की याद में बाल दिवस के रूप में मनाने का संकल्प लिया है। वहीं, बेगूसराय के विधायक कुंदन सिंह ने भी इस इनिस्योटिव का स्वागत किया और कहा कि अब हर साल इस दिन को बाल दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाएगा।
