While on one hand, KEK Pathak is continuously visiting schools to improve the education system, on the other hand, a temporary principal has been arrested for creating a ruckus in the school while being intoxicated. The incident took place at Barbatol Primary School in Kanthudiha village of Benipur block in Darbhanga district, where the temporary principal, Ramchandra Mandal, was arrested by the police in an intoxicated state on the school premises. Local residents say that the temporary principal arrived at the school intoxicated and started creating a ruckus at the school gate, shouting at the children and anyone coming and going. Local villagers tried to explain to the principal, but he continued to create a ruckus. Seeing the commotion, a crowd of villagers gathered near the school. On the information of the local people, the police from Baheda police station also reached the spot. The police conducted a breathalyzer test on the principal, confirming his intoxication.
Arrested in front of BEO by the police
The villagers informed the Block Education Officer (BEO) about the ruckus created by the temporary principal in an intoxicated state on the school premises. As soon as the information was received, the Block Education Officer, Indu Sinha, reached the school premises. In front of the BEO, the officer-in-charge of Baheda police station, B.K. Brajesh, arrested the temporary principal.
In this regard, the Block Education Officer, Indu Sinha, said that the villagers informed about the ruckus created on the school premises. When we reached the school, the temporary principal was creating a ruckus. On receiving information about the incident, the local police also reached the spot. After investigation by the police, it was confirmed that he was under the influence of alcohol. The BEO said that there are a total of four teachers deployed in this school, including the temporary principal. Out of them, only two teachers, including the accused teacher, were present.
दरभंगा जिले के बेनीपुर प्रखंड के कनथुडीह गांव के प्राथमिक विद्यालय बरबटोल में प्रभारी प्रधानाध्यापक रामचंद्र मण्डल नशे में धुत होकर विद्यालय पहुंचे और वहां हंगामा करने लगे। स्थानीय लोगों की सूचना पर पुलिस ने उन्हें गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। प्रखंड शिक्षा पदाधिकारी इंदु सिन्हा ने बताया कि ग्रामीणों ने हंगामा करने की सूचना दी और जब वे स्थान पर पहुंचे तो प्रभारी प्रधानाध्यापक नशे में पाए गए थे। पुलिस के द्वारा जांच करने पर उनके नशे में पुष्टि हुई है।
