Police Arrests Criminal with Illegal Weapon
SP Pramod Kumar provided information that the police in the Udawantnagar police station area in Bhojpur district arrested a criminal near the Central School on the Ara-Sasaram State Highway for forcibly extorting money from trucks and other vehicles. The criminal managed to escape twice. The police have filed a preliminary report against all three. A country-made pistol and 2 cartridges were recovered. The criminal has a history of previous offenses and was residing in Karman Tola.
Arrest by Udawantnagar Police
The Udawantnagar police arrested the criminal. As soon as the police arrived, all three tried to flee. The SP explained that in the morning, the police received confidential information during patrolling that armed criminals near the Central School were forcibly extorting money from passing vehicles. Based on the information, the SHO Ram Kalyan Yadav and trainee inspector Neetish Kumar conducted a raid.
Police Chase and Capture
When the police arrived, the three criminals were attempting to stop a truck forcibly. Upon seeing the police car, all three tried to escape. One criminal was caught while the other two managed to flee. During the search, weapons and cartridges were found. SHO Ram Kalyan Yadav mentioned that there have been previous criminal incidents recorded in the Navada police station and searches are being conducted in other stations as well.
एसपी प्रमोद कुमार ने दी जानकारी के अनुसार, उदवंतनगर थाना क्षेत्र अंतर्गत आरा-सासाराम स्टेट हाईवे पर जीरो माइल स्थित केंद्रीय विद्यालय के पास ट्रक समेत अन्य वाहनों से जबरन रंगदारी वसूलने के आरोप में एक बदमाश को पुलिस ने अवैध हथियार के साथ पकड़ा है। इसे लेकर पुलिस ने तीनों के विरुद्ध नामजद प्राथमिकी की है और दो मौकों से भाग गए हैं। बदमाश के साथ एक देसी पिस्टल और 2 कारतूस बरामद किए गए हैं। इसके साथ ही, उदवंतनगर थाना की पुलिस ने भी गिरफ्तार किया है। थानाध्यक्ष राम कल्याण यादव ने बताया कि नवादा थाना में पहले से आपराधिक कांड अंकित है और अन्य थानों में भी जांच की जा रही है।
