Police raided an apartment in Patna where a fake job interview was taking place for metro positions. Three people were arrested for cheating job seekers.
Recently, police carried out a raid at a flat in the PNB building on the fourth floor of pillar number 88 on the Mithapur bypass in Patna. This happened because they received a tip-off about a fake job interview happening there.
During the operation, officers arrested three men: Akhilesh Chaudhary from Supaul, Dinesh Sahu from Nawada, and Navneet Kumar from Saharsa. They were running a scam to trick unemployed youth into believing they could get jobs in the Patna metro.
The gang was charging around 10 lakh rupees for securing a job. They would first collect 50-60 thousand rupees from candidates after making them fill out an online form for just 1179 rupees. Then, they called these candidates to their flat for interviews.
In the raid, police found various documents and interview papers. The arrested individuals were taking interviews right at that moment, trying to deceive more people.
It was found that the main mastermind behind this operation was Akhilesh Yadav from Danapur, who is currently on the run. Police are actively looking for him and will take the three arrested men into custody for further questioning.
