**Police Investigating Shooting Incident**

In the Sasaram area of Rohtas district in Bihar, a cloth merchant was shot by fearless criminals on Sunday night. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police from the Daudha Thana area immediately reached the crime scene. With the help of local people, the injured man was taken in a police jeep to a private hospital in the city for treatment. The victim, identified as Bajrangi Kumar (30), son of Mahendra Singh, a resident of Daudha, is currently in serious condition.

According to reports, the cloth merchant Bajrangi was on his way home through the village of Gaanv when unknown criminals fired shots at him, causing him to be seriously injured. The bullet hit the young man’s abdomen, making his condition critical.
**Police Response**
The Superintendent of Police, Vinit Kumar, confirmed the incident, stating that a person was shot in the Daudha Thana area. The injured youth is currently being treated at Narayan Medical College. A suspect has been handed over to the police by the villagers. The reasons behind the incident are still unknown.
**Recent Incidents**
It is noteworthy that this is the second attempt at murder within a span of 12 hours. On Sunday evening, near the Konar village in the Shivsagar Thana area, two unknown criminals shot and injured a young man riding a bike. The bullet hit the young man’s hand, saving his life. However, these two incidents have raised questions about the police’s efficiency. Additionally, the preparations of the Rohtas police under the Model Code of Conduct have also come under scrutiny.
