Suspension of the Sub-Inspector
Following the viral audio clip, SP Himanshu suspended the Sub-Inspector Roshan Kumar 2 late on Friday night. The SP stated that the audio clip contained disrespectful and inappropriate language, as well as casteist remarks. An investigation found that the Sub-Inspector’s behavior was unbecoming of a police officer, leading to his suspension. The audio clip has sparked outrage on social media, with many condemning the actions of the Banagawan Police.
Immediate Action Taken after the Audio Clip
After the audio clip went viral, SP Himanshu took immediate action by suspending Sub-Inspector Roshan Kumar 2. The SP mentioned that the audio clip contained abusive and casteist language, which was unprofessional and against the principles of discipline. The Sub-Inspector was recommended for disciplinary action, and he was suspended from his duties at the Banagawan Police Station. The headquarters for his suspension period will be the Simri Bakhtiarpur Police Officer, and he will receive a subsistence allowance based on his presence.
