Poor Arrangements at Bhbhua Sadar Hospital
Despite all the efforts by the government, there are quite poor arrangements at the Bhbhua Sadar Hospital. People are having to resort to private hospitals for treatment. The government had arranged for people to get CT scans at low prices across the state.
CT Scan Machine Malfunction
However, when an investigation was conducted at the Bhbhua Sadar Hospital on Saturday, it was found that the CT scan machine was not working. Patients who were coming for CT scans were being turned away after hearing this news. Some patients with critical conditions are being forced to seek services from outside at high prices while others are waiting for the machine to be fixed.
Disrupted Services at the Hospital
Deepak Kumar Pandey and Pramod Pathak, who arrived at the Sadar Hospital, revealed that they had come for a CT scan for their wife. Upon arrival, they were informed that the machine was not operational. The staff mentioned that the machine would be fixed in 2 days and they would be informed. This has caused a lot of inconvenience to the patients.
Technical Glitch in CT Scan Machine
Bihar State Head of CT scan, Suman Maitri, informed that a technical glitch had occurred in the CT scan machine at Bhbhua Sadar Hospital since Saturday. The machine is currently non-functional as an engineer from Bangalore was called to fix it. A faulty part was found during the check and it has been dispatched from Patna. The machine will be operational by evening once the part arrives.
