One such young man from Shripur village in Madhepura district, Dheeraj Kumar, used to work in a private job earning only 10-15 thousand rupees per month. However, after getting the idea of poultry farming from YouTube, he started his own farm with 2000 chickens and now earns more than 1 lakh rupees per month.
Starting Small
Dheeraj Kumar, originally from Bihar, used to work as a delivery boy for Flipkart, earning around 10-12 thousand rupees per month. After getting the idea of poultry farming from YouTube, he visited a nearby farm and started with 2000 chickens. With the help of ABIS company, he now has a farm with 9000 chickens and receives support in terms of feed and medicine for the chickens. The company also buys the chickens after 30-35 days, giving Dheeraj a profit of up to 20 rupees per chicken.
