Purnia Faces Power Outage for 3 Hours Today
In Purnia, Bihar, there will be a disruption in power supply for approximately 3 hours on the first day of June. During this time, maintenance work related to electricity and cutting of tree branches will be carried out. The rising temperatures and weather conditions have increased people’s discomfort in the area.
Electricity Supply Disrupted in Several Areas
Due to necessary maintenance work, power supply services will be disrupted in specific areas in Purnia, including Madhubani PSS feeder number 1, feeder number 2, and feeder number 3. As a result, from 9 AM to 12 PM, electricity supply will be affected in these areas, causing inconvenience to consumers. The power supply will be restored once the maintenance work is completed.

Areas such as the electricity transport office, court premises, collectorate, art building, SBI, Thana Chowk, Housing Board Colony, Shastri Nagar, and Sipahi Tola will experience power outages today. The urban area’s SDPO Rohit Kaushik urges all electricity consumers to manage accordingly during this time.
