Alleged Misconduct by Head Teacher in Sitamadhi
An incident that has left everyone shocked took place in the Parsauni Thana area of Sitamadhi. The head teacher of a government school in the area allegedly attempted to commit misconduct with a minor female student of the school. Upon receiving information about the incident, relatives and villagers stormed the school and kept the accused head teacher confined within the premises for nearly 2 hours. The police and BDO arrived later and managed to calm the situation.
Details of the Incident
According to reports, last Tuesday, the head teacher had asked an 8th grade female student to stay back after school hours to become the class monitor. He had also mentioned closing the school office during this time. When the student was following the head teacher’s instructions, he allegedly misbehaved with her. The student managed to escape and informed her family about the incident.
Public Outrage and Police Action
Upon learning about the incident, relatives and villagers confronted the head teacher at the school on Saturday. The situation escalated into a physical altercation, leading the villagers to confine the head teacher within the school premises. The police and BDO intervened to calm the situation and later took the accused head teacher into custody after gathering information from the students.
Legal Action Taken
The police have registered an FIR based on the statement of the aggrieved student’s parents. The accused head teacher is being held in judicial custody pending further legal action. Immediate action is being taken against the accused head teacher to ensure justice is served in the case.
