The family members allege that under the pretext of conducting the delivery, the ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) first illegally took Rs 2000 from them and then attempted to forcefully deliver the baby by climbing on the woman’s abdomen. This resulted in the woman having to undergo 23 stitches in her private and external parts. However, during this ordeal, the woman did give birth to a baby boy.
