Sitamarhi Contractual Workers Protest
In Sitamarhi on Tuesday, contractual workers created a ruckus by staging a protest at the DHS office. The workers had gathered to submit a memorandum to Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary on Monday at the Yadupatti market. Contractual worker Kanchan Kumari mentioned that they were peacefully standing on the roadside during the protest. However, the police misbehaved with them and even resorted to physical violence against them.

After the Deputy CM left the scene, the workers were released. It should be noted that an attempt was made to surround the Deputy CM on Monday. The workers have been demanding regularisation of their jobs for a long time now. They have been facing uncertainty due to their contractual status and are seeking job security.

सीतामढ़ी में मंगलवार को डीएचएस कार्यालय में संविदा कर्मियों ने तालाबंदी करके हंगामा किया। उन्होंने सोमवार को उप मुख्यमंत्री सम्राट चौधरी को मांग पत्र सौंपने के लिए यद्दुपट्टी बाजार पर जमावड़े में शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से खड़े होकर दिखाया। पुलिस कर्मियों ने उनके साथ बदसलूकी की और मारपीट भी की, लेकिन डिप्टी सीएम के आने के बाद सभी को मुक्त कर दिया गया। इसके पीछे सोमवार को डिप्टी सीएम का घेराव करने की कोशिश भी थी।
