It is reported that late Thursday night, Satyam Kumar (23) was returning to his home in Neura Ganj from Patna when he was shot by criminals. Satyam Kumar was admitted to the hospital in Danapur for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries. Locals mentioned that Satyam Kumar had recently secured a job at Axis Bank in Bangalore. After completing his training, he returned to his home in Bihata. He was supposed to travel to Bangalore for work on Friday. On Thursday, he had gone to Patna city with his sister for marketing and was returning to his village late at night when he was shot near Neura Ganj by criminals.

After the incidents, the police officers reached the scene to calm down the agitated crowd and explain the situation to them. The public expressed anger over the lack of arrests of the criminals and criticized the police for their inaction.
