Protest against non-payment of wages in Dhanbad
Angry over the non-payment of wages, a protest was held at the District Social Welfare Office in Dhanbad. Contractual workers, including female supervisors and statisticians from the old District Social Welfare Office, surrounded the office. Contractual worker Leela Rani stated that our financial situation has become very difficult due to the non-payment of wages from March 2023 to December 2023. This has made it difficult for us to pay our children’s school fees, support our families, commute to the office, travel for work-related purposes, and carry out other departmental tasks. This problem exists in 9 districts.
वेतन न मिलने की समस्या
धनबाद में वेतन नहीं मिलने के कारण विरोध प्रदर्शन किया गया। संविदा कर्मियों ने पुराने जिला समाहरणालय कार्यालय के जिला समाज कल्याण पदाधिकारी कार्यालय को घेरा। संविदा कर्मी लीला रवानी ने बताया कि मार्च 2023 से दिसम्बर 2023 तक वेतन नहीं मिलने के कारण हमारी आर्थिक स्थिति बहुत ही कठिन हो गई है।

The protestors demanded the immediate resolution of the issue and the payment of their pending wages.
धनबाद में वेतन नहीं मिलने से नाराज महिला पर्यवेक्षिका और बाल विकास परियोजना के कर्मियों ने जिला समाज कल्याण पदाधिकारी कार्यालय में विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। वे बताती हैं कि उन्हें 11 महीनों तक वेतन नहीं मिला है और इसके कारण उनकी आर्थिक स्थिति बहुत ही दयनीय हो गई है। इससे उन्हें कई कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। यह समस्या धनबाद के अलावा अन्य 9 जिलों में भी है।
