**CM Nitish Kumar’s Absence Raises Concerns**

During Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s nomination in Varanasi on Tuesday, a gathering of stalwarts took place. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was absent. After the demise of former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and closest BJP stalwart Sushil Kumar Modi, an order was given for his last rites in Patna on Tuesday with state honors. However, Nitish Kumar himself did not go to Diggha Ghat in Patna. For the past 16 years, he has been visiting the park in Kankarbagh, Patna to pay homage to his deceased wife Manju Sinha on her death anniversary on May 14. But on the 17th death anniversary, he did not go. This raised questions, especially after a government statement mentioned his ill health. The fact that he did not attend two local events has raised concerns among leaders of his party Janata Dal United. The common people of Bihar are also perturbed after seeing the pictures of the Chief Minister during Prime Minister Modi’s roadshow. They are questioning whether Nitish Kumar is facing more difficulties than it seems. There is a demand for the release of CM Nitish Kumar’s health bulletin.

**The Demand for Health Bulletin**

Earlier, the BJP was demanding a health bulletin, but now they are silent. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is not the same as before and does not appear as he used to, a fact that has been circulating in the air for the past nine months. At that time, there was a Mahagathbandhan government, with JDU leader Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh at the helm. The Bharatiya Janata Party was in opposition. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar started making headlines due to his strange statements and unusual actions. After several incidents, including Minister Ashok Choudhary’s head-on collision, former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi’s confrontation, bowing in front of the media, and revealing the population control formula in both houses of the legislature, the BJP accused a conspiracy against CM Nitish Kumar. They claimed that wrong medicine was being given to him. The former opposition party BJP had demanded CM Nitish Kumar’s health bulletin at that time. On January 28, Nitish Kumar returned to the National Democratic Alliance and the BJP’s demand ended there. However, even after that, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar never appeared at ease. Even when he praised Prime Minister Modi on stage, questions were raised about his intentions. He mentioned winning on 4000 Lok Sabha seats instead of 400 seats, which raised eyebrows. Sunil Kumar Sinha, Director of the Chanakya School of Political Rights and Research, bluntly states, “BJP should take the lead if they are genuinely concerned about Nitish Kumar, whether they were worried about him before January 28 or now.”
