Known as the “masked leader,” Pushpam Priya has launched an attack on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav. On social media, she claimed that the Nitish government has increased the honorarium of panchayat representatives from 2500 to 5000 rupees, while MLAs are receiving lakhs of rupees in salary and allowances. She questioned how panchayat representatives can fulfill their duties while being neglected and underpaid in Bihar.

She accused Lalu and Nitish of being involved in institutional corruption and sending the message to “loot like us.” She questioned how a panchayat representative can fulfill their duties if they are hungry and corrupt.
