Tejas Express: Ticket Booking for the Bhagalpur-Delhi Route Begins
★The long-awaited Tejas Express train, which Bhagalpur residents have been waiting for years, will finally be operational on January 15th. The Indian Railways has given Bhagalpur residents a big gift on the occasion of Vishwakarma Puja. The booking for Tejas Express tickets has started today. Since September 17th, the booking facility for tickets in all categories of coaches of the Agartala-Anand Vihar Terminal Tejas-Rajdhani Express train has been introduced.
★Starting from January 17th, Tejas Express will operate on a regular basis from Anand Vihar Terminal on a new route.
★According to the railway, the operation of the Tejas Rajdhani Express on the Malda-Bhagalpur-Jamalpur-Kiul-Patna route from Agartala will begin on January 15th, 2024. Passengers from Bhagalpur and Jamalpur can travel on this train from January 16th. Additionally, from January 17th, Tejas Express will operate regularly from Anand Vihar Terminal on a new route.
★It should be noted that there has been a long-standing demand to operate a Rajdhani Express between Bhagalpur and Delhi. The Railway Board has already accepted the demand and decided on the timing, date, and fare. The Tejas Express, numbered 20501/02, travels from Agartala, Guwahati, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Barauni, and Patliputra to Delhi. The reservation for this route has been closed since Saturday. Tejas Express last operated on its old route from Agartala to Delhi on January 8th. From January 15th, it will travel from Agartala to Bhagalpur, and then to Patna. The train will depart from Agartala at 3:10 PM and reach Bhagalpur at 6:25 PM the next day, after stopping at Guwahati at 4:05 AM.
