The Indian Railways is introducing blanket covers for passengers in AC coaches to enhance comfort and hygiene.

The Indian Railways has announced a new facility for passengers traveling in AC coaches. Starting from Jaipur, every passenger will now receive a blanket with a cover during their journey. This update was shared by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav.

This initiative aims to improve passenger comfort and address concerns about hygiene. The pilot project has been launched in Jaipur on the Jaipur-Asarwa railway service. The blankets will now come in covers, similar to how we use blankets in our homes.

Passengers traveling in the AC coaches can now expect better hygiene during their trips. The new facility was inaugurated at Khatipura railway station in Jaipur. Passengers can enjoy a more comfortable journey with this added service.

Railway Minister Vaishnav stated that this move is a response to long-standing complaints regarding the cleanliness of blankets. The aim is to ensure that passengers feel more secure and relaxed during their travel.

If this pilot project proves successful, the Railways plans to extend this service across the country. The feedback from passengers will be crucial in deciding how to move forward with this initiative.
