Train Engine Derails Near Bhagwanpur Desua Station
During shunting work near the Bhagwanpur Desua station on the Samastipur-Khagaria railway track, an engine derailed, leading to the suspension of train operations on the Samastipur-Rosara railway line. Railway officials immediately reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and have started investigating the matter. The incident occurred while shunting work was being carried out on the rack point, causing the engine to fall off the track. However, there have been no reports of any casualties.
Renowned Artist Kapildev Prasad Passes Away
Kapildev Prasad, a Padma Shri awardee known for his expertise in the art of ‘Bavan Booti’ motifs on fabric, passed away in a private hospital in Patna. Last year, he was honored with the Padma Shri, the country’s fourth-highest civilian award, by President Draupadi Murmu for his contributions to the art of ‘Bavan Booti.’ His death has left the entire state of Bihar mourning his loss. The final rites for Kapildev Prasad will be conducted at the Triveni Ghat in Fatuha, Patna.
Tragic Incident in Patna Involving Gas Cylinder Blast
In another tragic incident in Patna, two gas cylinders exploded while cooking dinner, resulting in injuries to 14 people, including men, women, and children. All the injured individuals have been admitted to the Nalanda Medical College Hospital in Patna for treatment. The entire village is in a state of shock following the incident, and an atmosphere of fear has gripped the area. Authorities are investigating the cause of the gas cylinder blast to prevent such accidents in the future.
