According to the weather department, light to moderate rainfall is expected for the next two to three hours in Saharsa, Madhepura, Purnia, Katihar, Jamui, Bhagalpur, Banka, Saran, Bhojpur, Buxar, Kaimur, Rohtas, Lakhisarai, Sheikhpura, Patna, Jehanabad, Arwal, Gaya, Nalanda, Nawada, and Aurangabad. During this time, wind speeds are expected to be between 30 to 40 km per hour.

Orange alert issued in three districts

An orange alert has been issued in Nawada, Nalanda, and Aurangabad. Moderate rainfall is expected for the next two to three hours in these districts, along with the possibility of thunderstorms. Wind speeds during this time are expected to be between 40 to 50 km per hour.

Weather department advises caution

In some parts of Bihar, thunder, lightning, and light rain are predicted. It is time to be cautious. Clouds are forming rapidly, and sudden cloud formation can lead to intense thunderstorms and rainfall. Stay alert during such weather conditions. If outside, seek shelter indoors. Avoid standing under trees during this time.
