Understanding Vasundhara is not reaching Rajnath Singh.
The upcoming Lok Sabha elections are approaching. Before this, in the assembly elections of five states, the Bharatiya Janata Party formed the government with a clear majority in three places. Out of these, the name of the Chief Minister has been decided for Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. In Madhya Pradesh, the victory guarantee was given in “Modi’s Guarantee” vs “Ladli Behna”. Today is Rajasthan’s turn and there is a lot of speculation in Bihar regarding the role of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. It is being said that by making Dr. Mohan Yadav the CM in Madhya Pradesh, BJP has given a message to the largest “Yadav” population in Bihar to stay with them, but in Bihar, there is more discussion about Rajnath Singh than since Monday. What happened in Bihar in the 2020 elections?
In the Bihar Assembly elections 2020, the Bharatiya Janata Party obtained a majority with the Janata Dal United. Due to the split in the Lok Janshakti Party led by Chirag Paswan, the JDU was at the third position. In the alliance that came to power, BJP had the largest share, although according to one party, the largest share was of the Rashtriya Janata Dal. Since the National Democratic Alliance had received the mandate to form the government and BJP had emerged strongly in it, there were voices from within that the Chief Minister should be from BJP. However, it was then said that NDA had fought the elections on Nitish Kumar’s face, so he should be kept in power. BJP was supposed to be given the Deputy CM position. CM Nitish Kumar wanted to keep the old Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi from BJP with him. However, there were various factions within BJP. One faction was of the Yadavs, and one was of the Dalits. But the biggest name was Sushil Modi’s. Rajnath Singh was given the actual responsibility for making the decision, just like in Rajasthan.
What did Rajnath Singh do then?
The CM position is stuck in Rajasthan and the biggest question is regarding Vasundhara Raje Scindia. A similar situation was there in Bihar regarding Sushil Kumar Modi. The environment was quite settled for Modi as CM, with Nitish Kumar continuing as CM. There was no open opposition within the state BJP, as no one wants to openly oppose Vasundhara now. That’s when Rajnath Singh arrived in Patna. After arriving, he stayed at the state guest house and talked about issuing a notice at the BJP office. The process of issuing the notice through a secret note was to find out whether Sushil Kumar Modi was in favor or against BJP. There was speculation in the BJP office about the notice, but Rajnath Singh did not complete the process of issuing the notice there. When he turned towards the CM’s residence, news came out from inside that Sushil Modi had disappeared from the race. Even after taking the mandate with BJP, Nitish later joined the Mahagathbandhan, so it was said that this is the result of Sushil Modi’s removal, but so far it has not been revealed what Rajnath Singh said and how he convinced the CM to leave his old Deputy CM. Today is Rajasthan’s turn. And the story from Bihar BJP three years ago is still going strong.
