In recent days, cricket matches have returned to Bihar after 23 years, sparking discussions about hosting major cricket matches in the state once again. Bihar’s Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav has announced that the state will soon host IPL and international cricket matches. He stated that a separate department has been created in Bihar for sports and significant improvements are being made in the field of sports.
Tejashwi Yadav expressed his confidence in the team and emphasized the importance of teamwork in both cricket and politics. He mentioned that a separate sports department has been established in Bihar to promote sports in all areas. He also highlighted the unity and strength of the Mahagathbandhan alliance and stated that the people of Bihar are talented and deserving of opportunities.
Tejashwi Yadav further stated that the BJP has no chance in Bihar due to the unity of the Mahagathbandhan and the support of the people. He mentioned that since the formation of the alliance, there have been improvements in job opportunities, caste census, and increased benefits for all. He also addressed the seat allocation issue, questioning whether people were aware of the actual seat distribution in Bihar.
It is worth mentioning that the Ranji Trophy was organized in Patna’s Moin-ul-Haq Stadium after 23 years. However, the deteriorated condition of the stadium had tarnished Bihar’s image. After much embarrassment, the Bihar government has now planned to transform the Moin-ul-Haq Stadium into a world-class stadium.
