RJD MP Sudhakar Singh criticizes the Bihar government for corruption and inefficiency in water management and farmer issues during a meeting.

In a recent meeting in Durgavati, Kaimur district, RJD MP Sudhakar Singh openly criticized the Bihar government for its corruption. He claimed that Kaimur has turned into a hub of dishonest practices, highlighting a significant MNREGA scam where Rs 6 crore was allegedly misappropriated through fake vendors.

Sudhakar Singh also raised concerns about the Ganga Jal Yojana, pointing out that the Ganga’s significance seems to vanish during elections. He mentioned that for the last 20 years, various pump canals have been used for irrigation, but the government is not utilizing the full water capacity available to Bihar.

He pointed out that the state is failing to make the most of the water from the Karmnasha Canal, which has a capacity of 300 cusecs. Farmers suffer from financial exploitation under the Bharatmala Expressway project, and he warned that they might protest if proper compensation is not provided.

During the meeting, Sudhakar Singh criticized former MLA Ambika Yadav for not completing any significant projects during his tenure. He stated that the current government needs to take urgent action to address the pressing issues faced by the local people.

Lastly, he announced that the foot over bridge projects in Karmnasha and Kharsara have been approved, showing his commitment to resolving local problems. Sudhakar Singh emphasized that the welfare of the people in this region is his top priority.
