Robbery Incident in Bhojpur
In Bhojpur, on Monday evening, criminals carried out a robbery incident. Armed criminals looted a cloth merchant. They first stopped his bike and then shot him. The injured youth was shot in the chest and fell to the ground from his bike in a critical condition. The criminals fled the scene after shooting him.
Victim’s Medical Treatment
Upon receiving information about the incident, the family members immediately rushed to the spot. The injured youth was taken to the Piru Referral Hospital for treatment. The incident took place near Sikarhata Thana area on Fatehpur Ramnagar Nahar Marg near Sikraul village in the district.
Identity of the Victim
The injured youth, identified as Sunil Kumar (26), a resident of Patkhauliya village in the Sikarhata Thana area, is the son of Surendra Singh. He runs a cloth shop by profession in Fatehpur Bazaar. The incident has caused a stir in the surrounding areas of the village.
Police Investigation and Arrest
Local police immediately reached the scene upon receiving information about the incident. The victim’s brother, Rajesh Kumar, mentioned that he runs a State Bank CSP center in Fatehpur Bazaar, while his brother Sunil Kumar has a readymade clothing store. The criminals looted cash and a locker from them before fleeing the scene. The police are currently investigating the case and trying to apprehend the culprits.
