Robbery in Giridih

Some masked criminals in Giridih have reportedly looted a house at gunpoint, taking away around 2 lakh rupees. The incident took place late at night in Dumritola area of Devri Bhelpahari police station. The victim, 65-year-old Jagdish Sao, mentioned that due to the heat and power outage, he and his wife were sleeping in the courtyard of their house.

Details of the Incident

At around 1 am, a few people trespassed into their courtyard and threatened the couple with a pistol and a knife, demanding the keys to all the rooms. Out of fear, Jagdish Sao handed over the keys to his two rooms. The criminals then tied up the couple, looted jewelry worth 70,000 rupees, and cash amounting to 80,000 rupees from a safe and an almirah.

Further Robbery

After looting the first set of valuables, the criminals asked for the key to their son Babulal Sao’s room. When denied, they broke open the door and took away a box, the contents of which are unknown to the couple. However, the box was found near a broken bridge over a distant river by the police. The Bhelwaghati police station reached the scene with reinforcements to investigate the matter further.

गिरिडीह में नकाबपोश अपराधियों ने पिस्टल की नोक पर एक घर में घुसकर लूट की घटना को अंजाम दिया। इस घटना में करीब 2 लाख रुपए लूट लिए गए। घटना भेलवाघाटी थाना क्षेत्र के डुमरीटोला में देर रात घटी थी और पीड़ित जगदीश साव ने अपने दो कमरों का चाबी दे दिया। अपराधियों ने करीब 70 हजार रुपए का जेवर व 80 हजार हजार नगद राशि निकाल ली। इसके बाद उन्होंने उनके बेटे के कमरे से भी चाबी मांगी और एक बक्सा नदी पर टूटा हुआ पुलिस द्वारा बरामद किया गया। थाने दलबल ने मौके पर पहुंचकर मामले की जांच की।
