Robbery of Lakhs at Farmer’s House in Kishanganj

In a shocking incident, a farmer’s house in Ward number 17 of Janmajay village under Daula Panchayat in the town police station area of Kishanganj was looted of lakhs late at night. More than 6 armed robbers tied up the homeowner at gunpoint and then carried out the robbery. The incident took place late at night, and within half an hour, the robbers fled the scene. The police from the town station have reached the spot to investigate the matter.

Victim’s Account of the Robbery

The victim, Shamsher Alam, stated that the robbers entered the house at 11:30 pm and tied up his brother before throwing him aside. They then brought his other brother into the house, beat both of them, and proceeded to take out valuables. The robbers escaped with cash amounting to 1,37,000 rupees, along with silver and gold worth around 25,000 to 30,000 rupees.

Robbery at Gunpoint

The victim’s nephew, Mohammad Shahid Alam, revealed that more than 6 robbers were involved in the incident, with one of them carrying 3 guns and a hammer. The entire robbery was carried out at gunpoint. The family members are in shock due to the robbery, and the police have been informed about the incident for further investigation at the crime scene.
