Robbery of Lakhs in Teacher’s House in Surasand, Seetamadhi
In Surasand, Seetamadhi, a teacher’s house was robbed of lakhs of rupees. The incident took place in Ward number 6 of Radhaour village under the Surasand police station area. The robbers, armed with weapons, created havoc in the house of homemaker teacher Rambha Kumari on Tuesday night around 2:30 am for about an hour.
Details of the Robbery
More than a dozen robbers entered the house, all armed with weapons. Breaking the window rod, they entered and tied up the teacher, her husband, and daughter-in-law, locking them in the bathroom. It was reported that property worth six lakh rupees was looted from the teacher’s house.
Eye Witness Account
Rambha Kumari stated that they were sleeping after having dinner when suddenly they were awakened, and they saw seven to eight people entering their house. A man then stood in front of her and one by one woke up her husband Rajesh Tiwari and daughter-in-law Sonam Kumari, locking them in the bathroom. They took off all the jewelry from the women’s bodies and looted goods worth six lakh rupees from the house.
Police Action and Investigation
The police, led by DSP Atanu Datta and Inspector Dhananjay Kumar Pandey, along with other officers, reached the scene upon receiving the information. Despite conducting raids and setting up checkpoints to catch the robbers, they were not successful in apprehending them. DSP Atanu Datta assured that the robbers would be arrested, and the police are actively working on the case. Inspector Dhananjay Kumar Pandey mentioned that a case will be registered as soon as the complaint is received, and efforts are being made to arrest the culprits.
सीतामढ़ी के सुरसंड में एक टीचर के घर में लाखों की डकैती हुई है। घटना सुरसंड थाना क्षेत्र के राधाउर गांव वार्ड नंबर 6 की है। गृहस्वामी शिक्षिका रंभा कुमारी के घर में मंगलवार की रात करीब 2:30 बजे हथियार से लैस डकैतों ने एक घंटे तक उत्पात मचाया। डकैतों ने खिड़की की रॉड को तोड़कर अंदर घुसे और शिक्षिका दंपती और उसकी बहू को बंधक बना लिया। उसके बाद एक आदमी मेरे पास खड़ा हो गया और बारी-बारी से मेरे पति राजेश तिवारी, बहू सोनम कुमारी को जगाकर बाथरूम में बंद कर दिया।दोनों महिला के शरीर से सारे गहने उतरवा लिए। घर के पांच कमरे में लगभग दो घंटा तक गोदरेज, ट्रंक, पेटी-बक्सा आदि तोड़कर उसमें रखे साढ़े पांच लाख की ज्वेलरी और 54 हजार रुपए समेत 6 लाख रुपए मूल्य की सामग्री लूट ली। शिक्षिका की सेवा पुस्तिका समेत सभी जरूरत मंद कागजात ले गए।बताया कि अंदर घुसते ही सभी पारिवारिक सदस्यों को पिस्तौल, चाकू, लोहे की रॉड आदि के बल पर बंधक बना लिया था। जाते जाते अपराधियों ने घर के अभी मोबाइल को तोड़ फोड़ दिए। सूचना पर पुपरी डीएसपी अतुनू दत्ता और थानाध्यक्ष सह इंस्पेक्टर धनंजय कुमार पांडेय, इंस्पेक्टर एस इरशाद नुमान समेत अन्य पुलिसकर्मी मौके पर पहुंघे। चारों तरफ नाकाबंदी कर डकैतों की गिरफ्तारी के लिए छापेमारी की, लेकिन सफलता नहीं मिली।डीएसपी अतनु दत्ता ने बताया कि डकैतों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया जाएगा। पुलिस अपना काम कर रही है। थानाध्यक्ष धनंजय कुमार पांडेय ने कहा कि गृह स्वामी के फर्द बयान या आवेदन मिलते ही थाने में प्राथमिकी दर्ज की जाएगा। डकैतों की गिरफ्तारी के लिए छापेमारी कर रहे हैं।
