12 लोग गाड़ी में थे, ड्राइवर सो गया। मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, स्कॉर्पियो के ड्राइवर ने सुबह के समय एक नींद ली थी। इसके कारण ड्राइवर ने गाड़ी को नियंत्रित नहीं कर पाया। जब तक उसे कुछ समझ में आया, स्कॉर्पियो ने पहले से ही राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर खड़ी कंटेनर में घुस गई। इसके कारण कार उड़ गई। स्थानीय पुलिस अधिकारी ने इस हादसे में सात लोगों की मौत की पुष्टि की है। मृतकों में 5 महिलाएं शामिल थीं, जबकि 2 बच्चे भी मर गए। घायलों को उपचार के लिए सदर अस्पताल में भर्ती कर दिया गया है।
