RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat arrived in Patna on Thursday and directly headed to Bhagalpur from the airport. He reached Neeraj Shukla’s residence, who is associated with the RSS, located at Khaliqbagh Chowk, late at night. Stringent security arrangements were made for his arrival. At 8:22 pm, Bhagwat reached Bhagalpur through the road route, surrounded by a security cordon from Navgachhia. Intelligence agencies and police officers were present in and around Shukla’s residence, with metal detectors installed at the main gate of the house.
Bhagwat was welcomed at the residence by Neeraj Shukla, his family members, and other RSS members. Several RSS members accompanied the RSS chief. On Friday, Bhagwat will visit the Maharshi Mehi Ashram, where he will participate in various programs. When the convoy of Bhagwat’s vehicles arrived, the route was blocked. During his visit to the Kuppaghat Ashram in Maharshi Mehi, Bhagwat will take a sip of green tea. The green tea has been specially brought from a tea garden in Assam by the Akhil Bharatiya Santmat Mahasabha. Last time, Bhagwat had taken a fruit diet and simple meals, and this time he will also have simple meals.
As soon as the RSS chief arrived at the Lakhnibagh Garden, the security arrangements in the area were intensified. Police officers were present from Khalqibagh to Dhebergate. The market, which is usually bustling until 10 pm, was relatively empty. Bhagwat stayed at Neeraj Shukla’s residence, located in a lane near Khalqibagh Chowk. The police maintained strict vigilance from the entrance of the lane to the residence. Magistrates instructed the jawans to remain alert in groups of three. Police presence was visible from DN Singh Road to Kotwali, Verayati Chowk, Bhagat Singh Chowk, and Station Chowk.
आरएसएस प्रमुख मोहन भागवत गुरुवार को पटना पहुंचे थे। पटना एयरपोर्ट से सीधे भागलपुर के लिए रवाना हो गए और रात को सड़क मार्ग से भागलपुर पहुंचे। उनके आगमन को लेकर सुरक्षा व्यवस्था बहुत सख्त थी और खलीफाबाग चौक स्थित संघ से जुड़े नीरज शुक्ला के आवास पर संघ प्रमुख पहुंचे। उनके स्वागत के लिए नीरज शुक्ला व उनके परिजन के अलावा संघ के सदस्य मौजूद थे। संघ प्रमुख के साथ संघ के कई लोग भी आये थे। उन्होंने महर्षि मेंहीं आश्रम में साधु-संतों से मुलाकात की और ग्रीन टी की चुस्की भी ली। उनके आगमन को लेकर सुरक्षा व्यवस्था बहुत सख्त थी और अनेक स्थानों पर पुलिस तैनात थी।
