Another Case of RTI Activist Murdered in Bettiah, Bihar
In yet another case of RTI activist murder, a shocking incident has come to light in Bettiah, Bihar. The police discovered the body of the RTI activist in an unidentified state and are currently investigating the case. The body has been sent for postmortem for further examination.
Details of the Incident and Identification
The incident took place in Dubwalia Sareh of Manuapul OP in Bettiah, where the criminals brutally killed Haroon Miyan (64) with sharp weapons. The police identified the victim through his Aadhaar card. The police confirmed that the murder was committed using sharp weapons, as there were wounds on his hands and cheeks.
Postmortem and Investigation
The body has been sent to the Government Medical College Hospital for postmortem. The police are trying to contact the victim’s relatives. The motive behind the incident is still unknown. According to rural sources, Haroon Miyan was associated with an NGO called Society for Social Reform and Awareness in Chanpatia, and he was known as an RTI activist.
