Inspection of Safety and Passenger Facilities
On Friday, the General Manager of Eastern Railway, Milind Deouskar, conducted a detailed inspection of the Kiul-Jamalpur-Bhagalpur-Sahibganj-Barharwa section of Malda Division to assess the safety aspects and passenger facilities. During the inspection, he provided several important suggestions to enhance facilities and security in the division.
Meetings and Inspections
The inspection began with an inspection train from Kiul station to Jamalpur, followed by inspections at Jamalpur station and the progress of work at Amrit Bharat station. Deouskar also met with various representatives of Munger MLA Pranav Kumar and passenger associations during the inspection.
Facility Inspections
At Bhagalpur station, Deouskar inspected passenger facilities, OSP (One Station One Product) stalls, running rooms, coaching facilities, Bhagalpur bypass line, and yard remodeling work. At Pirpainti and Sahibganj stations, he assessed the progress of work under the Amrit Bharat station plan, and at Barharwa station, he inspected electronic interlocking cabins and security equipment.
