The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) officially declared the final results for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 on March 6, 2026. This top rank ensures his appointment to the prestigious Indian Administrative Service (IAS).

Who is Yashaswi Rajvardhan?

Yashaswi Rajvardhan comes from Malkhachak village in the Saran (Chhapra) district of Bihar. His success has brought a wave of joy to his family and the entire village. His father, Rajnish Kumar Singh, stated that this is a moment of pride for the family and teachers who supported him. He attributed this massive success to Yashaswi’s consistent hard work and dedication over the years. The local residents are celebrating the achievement of the “son of the soil” who has put their village on the national map.

UPSC CSE 2025 Result Overview

The UPSC has recommended a total of 958 candidates for appointment to various services, including the IAS, IFS, IPS, and Central Services. The final merit list was prepared based on the performance in the Written Main Examination held in August 2025 and the Personality Test conducted between December 2025 and February 2026. Besides Yashaswi, Bihar has seen other strong performers like Raghav Jhunjhunwala (AIR 4) and Ujjwal Priyank (AIR 10). The commission will release the individual marks of all candidates on its official website by March 21, 2026.
