Seat Distribution Agreement Reached

An agreement has been reached among the Congress, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), and the Communist Party of India (CPI) regarding the distribution of seats in India. According to the agreement, the Congress will contest on seven seats, while JMM, RJD, and CPI will field candidates on five seats each.

Final Decision Rests with Congress

On some seats, the final decision regarding the candidate to be fielded will be made by the Congress high command. This highlights the importance of the Congress party in the alliance and its role in determining the candidates for certain constituencies.

Parties to Field Candidates Independently

Despite coming to an agreement on seat distribution, the Congress, JMM, RJD, and CPI will be fielding candidates independently on the allocated seats. This indicates that while they have reached a consensus on seat sharing, each party will be contesting the elections on their own.

Cooperation and Unity Among Opposition Parties

The agreement on seat distribution reflects a sense of cooperation and unity among the opposition parties in India. By working together and coming to a mutual understanding, these parties aim to present a strong opposition front in the upcoming elections.
