Success in Joint Operation by CRPF and Jharkhand Police
The security forces have successfully targeted a zonal commander, sub-general commander, area commander, and a female Naxalite. Post the encounter, two Naxalites, including an area commander and a hardcore female cadre, have been captured. This achievement comes after a joint operation by CRPF and Jharkhand Police.
Challenges Faced by Security Forces
Security forces have encountered landmines, spikes, and traps placed by the Naxalites in the region, causing delays in reaching their camps. Several lives of local villagers have been lost due to these traps. Recent clashes near the Khunti-Chaibasa border resulted in the death of a Maoist organization’s area commander, weakening the Naxalite organization in the area.
Continued Search Operations and Future Plans
The search for the Naxalites’ area commander Budhram Munda had been ongoing for days before the recent operation. Following the successful operation, further interrogations are being conducted to gather more information. Based on this intelligence, the security forces will continue to intensify their campaign against Naxalites in the region.
