Heatwave Claims Life of Security Guard in Nalanda
The scorching heat in Nalanda has disrupted daily life, leading to the unfortunate death of a security guard. The incident took place in the Nandachak village under the Islamapur police station area. The deceased has been identified as Jitendra Kumar, son of late Vineshwar Gop, a resident of Nandachak village. Jitendra was currently serving as a security guard at the Islamapur police station. On Monday evening, family members and colleagues reached the Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for the postmortem of the body.
Sudden Collapse in the Field
A colleague revealed that Jitendra Kumar’s duty near the Badi Paithna Mosque in Islamapur was related to the Bakrid festival. After completing his duty, he returned home and went to the field to freshen up. Suddenly, he collapsed in the field. His uncle was working in the adjacent field and rushed to help Jitendra. With the help of local residents, Jitendra was admitted to the Islamapur Primary Health Center in an unconscious state where the doctor declared him dead.
Family Claims Heatwave as the Cause of Death
Family members claim that Jitendra’s death was due to heatstroke. The incident has left the family devastated, with the village atmosphere filled with cries and sorrow. The head of the Islamapur police station, Sanjeev Kumar, mentioned that the initial suspicion is towards heatstroke as the cause of death. The body has been sent to the Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for postmortem to determine the exact cause of death. The police are currently investigating the case thoroughly.

The postmortem report from the Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital will provide clarity on the reasons behind Jitendra Kumar’s untimely demise. At present, the police are actively investigating the case to uncover the truth. नालंदा में भी जोरदार गर्मी के कारण चौकीदार जितेंद्र कुमार की मौत हो गई। जितेंद्र कुमार नंदाचक गांव के निवासी थे और वर्तमान में इस्लामपुर थाना में चौकीदार के पद पर कार्यरत थे। उनकी मौत के परिणामस्वरूप उन्हें इस्लामपुर पीएचसी में भर्ती कराया गया और डॉक्टर ने मृत घोषित कर दिया। परिजनों का कहना है कि जितेंद्र की मौत लू लगने के कारण हुई है। पुलिस अब मामले की छानबीन में जुटी है।
