This article discusses the ongoing severe cold weather in Bihar and its impact on daily life, along with temperature details.

Bihar is currently facing a tough time due to extreme cold. The cold wave has intensified, and the Meteorological Department has indicated that there won’t be any relief until January 14. This year’s cold is breaking records, with temperatures dropping significantly both day and night.

On Tuesday, the temperature in Sabour, Bhagalpur fell to a chilling 4.6 degrees Celsius, marking one of the lowest temperatures seen in decades. Such low temperatures are making life difficult for the residents, especially during the nights.

The cold has affected all districts in Bihar, with nighttime temperatures dipping below 10 degrees Celsius for the first time this season. While places like Patna, Gaya, and Muzaffarpur enjoyed sunny and warm days, the nights turned cold and uncomfortable.

Many areas, including Nalanda, Siwan, and Gopalganj, experienced dry weather. During the day, the sun brought some warmth, but people felt the biting cold once the sun went down. This sudden drop in temperature is quite unusual for this time of year.

As the cold continues, residents are advised to stay warm and take necessary precautions. The weather is expected to remain chilly for the next few days, so people should prepare for more cold nights ahead.

Summary:

  • Bihar is experiencing severe cold weather.

  • Temperatures have dropped to record lows.

  • Nighttime temperatures are below 10 degrees Celsius.

  • Dry and sunny days are followed by cold nights.

  • Residents should stay warm as the cold continues.
