This article talks about delays in train services from Delhi to Bihar due to severe weather conditions.

On Friday, passengers heading to Bihar faced major delays as many trains from Delhi were stuck for hours. This was mainly due to a cold wave and heavy fog affecting visibility.

The trains that were delayed included popular services like the Tejas Rajdhani and Sampoorna Kranti. Passengers had to wait in freezing temperatures, which made the situation even more uncomfortable.

For example, the Tejas Rajdhani Express from New Delhi to Rajendra Nagar was late by nearly five hours. Similarly, another train from Patna to New Delhi was delayed by over five hours as well.

Many other trains were also running late, such as the Sampoorna Kranti Express and the Shramjeevi Express, which had delays ranging from one to six hours. The fog on the Delhi-Kanpur-Prayagraj route worsened the delays.

Rail officials mentioned that the ongoing bad weather has caused a loss in revenue due to cancellations and diversions. Passengers are advised to check train schedules before heading to the station.

Summary:

  • Passengers to Bihar faced delays due to heavy fog.

  • Key trains like Tejas Rajdhani were delayed significantly.

  • Train delays ranged from one to six hours.

  • Bad weather has impacted train schedules and revenue.

  • Passengers should check train timings before traveling.
