Sexual Exploitation Case in Muzaffarpur
In Muzaffarpur, Bihar, a case of sexual exploitation of girls in the name of jobs has come to light. A gang named DVR created a fake marketing company and posted job opportunities on social media targeting only girls. Many girls contacted them after seeing the advertisement.
Physical Abuse and Fraudulent Practices
The fake marketing company, DVR, assured the girls of high salaries and placed them in jobs after taking a hefty amount. However, some criminals there made the girls prisoners and physically abused them. One victim from Chapra district has filed an FIR against the alleged company in Muzaffarpur’s Ahhiyapur.
Legal Action and Investigation
Despite living in Muzaffarpur, the victim was forcibly involved in physical relations by Tilak Singh, the company’s CMD. She got pregnant during that time and decided to file a complaint to prevent further exploitation of other girls. SDPO 2 of the city, Vinita Kumari, confirmed that a fake FIR was registered and further investigation will be carried out in the case.
