Gaya Junction: A female railway employee in Gaya has filed a complaint of sexual harassment against a senior engineer of the Engineering Department. The victim has directly approached the senior railway officer with her complaint. Although the case has not reached the police station yet, it is being discussed within the department and railway authorities. The department has initiated an investigation at the departmental level once the case reached the senior officials.

According to railway sources, both the complainant and the accused railway employee (who is currently working as Helper-2) have been called to present their sides to an officer from the Personnel Department of the DDU Division for the investigation. Rakesh Kumar Sinha, the accused, denies all the allegations and claims that they are completely false and baseless. He believes that false accusations have been made against him with the intention of harassing him intentionally.
The investigation into the allegations made by the victim against Rakesh Kumar Sinha has been assigned to an officer from the Personnel Department of the DDU Division. Both parties have been asked to be present in the office of Assistant Personnel Officer Manoj Paswan for the investigation. Only after the investigation will it be clear whether the allegations are true or if the accused’s claims are valid.
