A postgraduate student at AIIMS Patna has tragically taken his own life by locking himself in his hostel room. The forensic investigation team discovered a four-page suicide note in his room, in which he expressed despair over a girl leaving him and questioning her future.

Student Studying PG in Anesthesia

The student, identified as Nilesh Kumar from Gurugram, Haryana, was pursuing his postgraduate studies in Anesthesia. It is believed that he committed suicide by consuming an excessive amount of anesthesia medication.

AIIMS administration promptly informed the Phulwarisharif police station about the discovery of the student’s body in room number 10 of the PG hostel.

Post Mortem Report Awaits

According to his classmates, Nilesh had completed his hospital duty on Thursday night and was scheduled for a night shift on Friday. Concerned about his absence, his classmates attempted to reach him on his mobile phone. When there was no response, they went to his hostel room and discovered it was locked from the inside.
