Shocking Incident in Parwalpur Thana Area of Nalanda
A young man entered a house in Pileech village of Parwalpur Thana area in Nalanda on Monday and shot a young woman. The injured woman is currently undergoing treatment at PMCH in Patna. A case has been registered against the accused based on the father’s statement. Meanwhile, the police have referred the case of violence and shooting to Patna.
Details of the Incident
The father stated that a young man entered the house searching for his daughter and mentioned her name. At that time, the daughter was watching TV. The young man took out a pistol, shot her, and fled. The daughter was taken to Parwalpur Hospital for treatment and then referred to Patna for better treatment.
Arrest of the Accused
Police recovered a pistol, country-made gun, bullet, and cartridge near the crime scene. The accused, Neetish Kumar from Kutoniyapar village in Manpur Thana area, has been arrested. Neetish claims that the woman had promised to marry him but later broke off the relationship.
Legal Action and Investigation
SHO of Parwalpur Thana, Pappu Kumar Singh, mentioned that an FIR has been filed and action is being taken. The IO of the case, Rahul Kumar, stated that the woman revealed that the young man was trying to force her into marriage, which she refused. This led to him coming home and shooting her.
