Incident of Assault near Gas Warehouse in Jamui
An incident of assault has come to light in the Nimarang gas warehouse area of Jamui town. Shyam Kishor Singh’s son Makshwar Kumar Singh was attacked by miscreants. The youth alleged that he was threatened with a pistol and attacked when he resisted. The miscreants fled the scene after creating a commotion.
Youth Injured in the Assault
The injured youth managed to reach home in a wounded state and informed his family about the incident. He was then admitted to the nearest hospital for treatment. The victim, who works as a Rajmistri in Indpe village, was returning home on foot when the incident occurred near the gas agency.
Police Investigation Underway
The victim accused Sumit Kumar Singh and Amit Singh, residents of Nimarang, of robbing him of nine thousand rupees, a gold chain, and attacking him with a pistol. A complaint has been lodged at the Town Police Station, and the police are currently investigating the matter. The victim’s condition is said to be critical, and the police are thoroughly examining every aspect of the incident.

The Town Police Station in-charge, Arun Kumar, stated that based on the victim’s complaint, a thorough investigation will be conducted, and necessary action will be taken. The incident seems to be a result of an old enmity, and the police are working diligently to uncover the truth behind the assault. The victim’s family is understandably fearful following the incident, and the police are ensuring their safety.
