Heavy Drop in Temperature in Bihar due to Cold Wave
The temperature in Bihar has dropped significantly due to the chilly winds and cold wave. The state’s temperature has reached as low as 6.5°C. People are experiencing extreme cold in the mornings, evenings, and nights. However, there is relief from the intense cold as the sun is shining during the day and the dense fog has not yet set in. Currently, there is a light to moderate fog in the state. According to meteorologists, until the dense fog sets in, the intense cold will not persist.

According to Dr. Ashish Kumar, a senior scientist at the Patna Meteorological Center, there is a forecast of light to moderate fog in one or two places in most parts of the state during the morning hours for the next 3 days.
Weather Conditions Today
According to the data received from the Meteorological Center, due to snowfall in the Western Himalayan region and the subsequent arrival of northwestern winds, there has been an increase in the chill. This condition is expected to continue for the next three days. While the maximum temperature in Bihar on Tuesday will be between 22 and 24 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature in South Central Bihar, Southwest Bihar, and Northwest Bihar is expected to be between 8°C and 10°C. The rest of the regions are likely to have a minimum temperature between 10°C and 12°C. There will be fog in the morning and sunshine during the day.
