The Indian Railways has initiated the final survey process for the 188-kilometer new rail line project connecting Sitamarhi to Nirmali in Bihar. This project is expected to improve the socio-economic status of the Mithilanchal and Seemanchal regions by providing better transportation. Key Stations and Proposed Route Plan
The railway line will start from Sitamarhi Junction and pass through various towns and villages before reaching its destination at Nirmali. This new route will provide rail access to several blocks of Sitamarhi for the first time, helping the local population travel more easily. The project includes the construction of several new railway stations along the way.
