The police identified Aditya Kumar from Nagwa village in the Bhagwanpur Haat area who was seen posing with a pistol in a video. Another individual named Vicky Kumar from Karsot village in the Darauli area appeared in a separate clip with both a country-made pistol and a standard pistol. These videos circulated rapidly on platforms like Facebook and Instagram before coming to the notice of the local authorities.

Following the viral footage, Siwan SP Puran Kumar Jha ordered immediate raids to arrest the accused.
