Crime in Gopalganj: Assistant of a Lawyer Shot Dead
In Gopalganj, Bihar, criminals have shot and killed the assistant of a lawyer. The incident took place near Banjari Mod of the Nagar Thana area. The deceased assistant has been identified as Sujit Kumar Kushwaha, who was the son of Hriday Kushwaha, a resident of Banjari Mohalla. The family members are in shock following the incident. Three criminals on a bike committed the murder. The family claims that Sujit had received death threats before. The police have formed an SIT under the leadership of Sadar SDPO Pranjal to investigate the case and have started raids on the possible locations of the criminals.
Police Initiates Investigation into the Murder
The police are currently investigating the entire incident and taking necessary actions. The SDPO visited the hospital amidst heavy protests from the relatives and started the post-mortem process. The body of the deceased has been sent for post-mortem examination. The police are conducting continuous raids to apprehend the criminals. The CCTV footage around the crime scene is also being examined. However, the police have not yet been able to identify the culprits. People in the area are fearful after the murder and demanding the arrest of the criminals.
