पटना के मंदिरी क्षेत्र में स्थित हाथुआ राज ज्ञानोदय संस्कृत कॉलेज में 20 से अधिक लड़कियां इकट्ठा होती हैं और राखी बनाने का काम करती हैं। इसमें हर धर्म और जाति की लड़कियां शामिल हैं। राखी बनाने में इस्तेमाल होने वाली चीजों का भी विस्तार से बयान किया जा रहा है। ट्रेनर वंदना झा बताती हैं कि लड़कियां बहुत प्रतिभाशाली हैं। वे बहुत तेजी से सीखती हैं। आज जो कौशल वे सीख रही हैं, वह भविष्य में बहुत उपयोगी होगा। सभी राखियां कम खर्च में छोटी-छोटी चीजों से तैयार की जा रही हैं। ये राखियां सिल्क धागे, मोती, शंख, चूड़ियां, रिबन, आईने और अन्य सजावटी चीजों से तैयार की जा रही हैं।
बी फॉर नेशन के संस्थापक ई. रोहित कुमार ने बताया कि लड़कियां सबसे पहले अपने भाई को राखी बांधेंगी। इसके बाद, राखी को स्पीड पोस्ट के माध्यम से दानापुर कैंट और शहर के पुलिस स्टेशनों में तैनात सैनिकों को भेजा जाएगा। राखी बांधने वाली सभी लड़कियां आर्थिक दुर्भाग्य से पीड़ित परिवारों से संबंध रखती हैं। ऐसे में, राखी बनाने कौशल की सीखने से उनके लिए स्वावलंबी बनने की शुरुआत होगी। भविष्य में ऐसे कई चीजें सीखकर, वे सभी कुशल बन सकती हैं। बी फॉर नेशन एक ऐसा संगठन है, जो इन झुग्गी बसे बच्चों को गुणवत्ता युक्त शिक्षा के साथ-साथ कौशल प्रशिक्षण भी प्रदान करता है। यह संस्था गुरु-शिष्य परंपरा को आगे बढ़ा रही है।
