Tez Raftar Pickup Accident:
A Tez Raftar pickup vehicle collided with a container near the Honda showroom on the main road of Chakai-Giridih in Jamui on Sunday morning. The collision resulted in serious injuries to the driver, co-driver, and two other passengers on the pickup vehicle. Local residents helped transport the injured to the Chakai hospital for initial treatment, and they were later referred to a better facility in Deoghar, Jharkhand for further treatment.
Identification of the Injured:
The injured driver and co-driver were identified as Vikas Kumar and Prabhu Kumar from Pansalwa Nawasi in the Chatra district of Jharkhand. Eyewitnesses reported that a container truck was already parked near the showroom on the Chakai-Giridih main road on Sunday morning. A speeding pickup vehicle collided with the container from behind, causing a powerful impact that led bystanders to initially suspect an explosion. Local residents gathered at the scene after learning about the accident.
Rescue Operation and Police Investigation:
The driver and co-driver of the pickup vehicle were trapped inside the vehicle after the accident. They were rescued with the help of local residents and taken to the referral hospital in Chakai. The entire incident was reported to the police for further investigation. The police have taken custody of both vehicles involved in the accident and are conducting a thorough investigation. The injured individuals have been referred to a hospital in Deoghar for better medical treatment, and further action is being taken in the case.
