Deceased Student Sahil Paswan
In Ara, Bihar, a student of Intermediate was shot dead while watching a Yagna with his friends. After this incident, a sensation spread throughout the area. The relatives of the deceased have accused his friends of being responsible for the incident. However, all the accused friends have been reported to be absconding since the incident. This incident took place near the Bahiro gas agency in the Nawada Thana area.
Identification of the Deceased
The deceased has been identified as Sahil, also known as Bholan Paswan (17), a resident of Bahiro Mohalla. Sahil was a student of Intermediate at Town High School. As soon as the news of the youth’s murder came, the local police reached the spot. The body was then taken to Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The police have also started investigating the entire case.
Father’s Account
The father of the deceased, Budhadev alias Budhan Paswan, stated that his son had gone to watch a Yagna organized in Gathaula village with his three friends last night. When he did not return home till late at night, they went out to look for him. However, he could not be found anywhere. The next morning, tractor drivers washing sand saw his body and informed us. When we reached the spot, we saw that my son had been shot dead. We then informed the Nawada Thana police about the incident.
Police Investigation
The Inspector Santosh Kumar of Nawada Thana, who arrived at the scene, mentioned that they received information about a youth being shot dead. The police are currently engaged in postmortem of the deceased’s body at the scene and investigating the entire case. The exact details of the incident are not known yet. The police are working to identify all the suspects involved and the reason behind the murder through scientific research and other sources, and will make efforts to arrest all the accused.
