District Education Officer Mithilesh Kumar from Siwan has been suspended by the Bihar government. He has been accused of corruption and an investigation is being conducted. During the investigation, cash worth approximately 16 lakhs, land documents from Patna to Noida, and flat documents were found at his residence. This action was taken by the Education Department.
In a separate incident in Siwan, a raid was conducted at an office and residence, resulting in the seizure of 14 lakhs in cash. The District Education Officer is currently under investigation for alleged embezzlement of approximately 87,08,054 rupees. The raid was conducted based on a search warrant obtained from the court, and during the search, cash amounting to 2,22,500 rupees was seized from the office and 11,85,000 rupees from the residence.
Further investigation revealed that the District Education Officer had purchased five flats and seven plots of land from Patna to Noida. The estimated value of these properties is around 2 crores rupees. Additionally, 28,88,214 rupees were found in seven bank accounts. The investigation into this matter is ongoing.
सीवान के जिला शिक्षा पदाधिकारी मिथिलेश कुमार को निलंबित कर दिया गया है। उनपर भ्रष्टाचार का आरोप लगा है और निगरानी विभाग की कार्रवाई में उनके ठिकाने से कुछ 16 लाख कैश, नोएडा और पटना में जमीन और फ्लैट के कागजात मिले हैं। इसके बाद शिक्षा विभाग ने उन्हें निलंबित कर दिया है। जिला शिक्षा पदाधिकारी के खिलाफ लगभग 87 लाख रुपये के धनार्जन का मामला दर्ज किया गया है और जांच के दौरान पता चला है कि उन्होंने पांच फ्लैट और सात जगह जमीन खरीदी है, जिसका मूल्य 2 करोड़ रुपये के करीब अनुमानित है। साथ ही उनके सात बैंक खातों में 28 लाख रुपये भी जमा मिले हैं। मामले में आगे की कार्रवाई चल रही है।
